For parents who sense that there’s something deeper going on beneath the surface than meets the eye.

Welcome to Safe Space to Land

An online sanctuary for parents of highly sensitive and deep-feeling children.

This is a space where your child’s sensitivity will be understood differently.

Where you can begin to make sense of what you’ve been living, understand what’s happening underneath what you’re seeing, and feel so much less alone in it.

When your child finally makes sense, knowing what to do becomes so much easier.

You may already have tried so many things. But when you don't understand what is driving your child's reaction, it's very hard to know what will actually help.

Or whether what you're doing is making things better or worse.

When you understand your child’s experience more deeply, things begin to make sense. You start to recognise what’s behind the reaction and you become clearer about what your child needs.

And gradually, knowing how to respond becomes less about remembering what you’re supposed to do, and more about simply knowing your child.

That’s the shift Safe Space to Land is designed to create: helping you move from second-guessing yourself, to understanding your child so deeply that knowing how to respond starts to feel obvious.

Sometimes the hardest part is understanding why your child is reacting this way in the first place.

And when you don’t understand what’s happening underneath the behaviour or challenges, even the best parenting advice can leave you second-guessing yourself.

If you’ve been pouring your heart into parenting your deep-feeling child and still feel like something’s missing, you’re not alone.

Safe Space to Land gives you a new way of seeing your child.

One that helps you understand their experience, recognise what they need, and respond in a way that truly makes a difference.

Because in those difficult moments, they’re not just reacting to what’s happening around them. They’re responding to what they’re feeling and needing deep inside.

I’m Sarah Weaver, the passionate creator of Safe Space to Land.

I’ve spent more than a decade helping children and families understand what’s really going on beneath difficult moments.

I know this work personally too.

I was a deeply feeling child who often felt that the world didn’t quite understand what was happening inside me.

Then, as a mother, I experienced first-hand how difficult it can be to parent a child whose reactions don’t always make sense from the outside.

Understanding high sensitivity massively changed the way I saw my own child.

And over years of working with families, training, research and experience, I developed the framework that became Safe Space to Land.

It’s built around a simple belief:

When a deep-feeling, highly sensitive child is better understood, everything about how we support them can change.

And then everything about how the child sees themselves can too.

Because how your child experiences these moments can shape so much more than the moment itself.

When a child repeatedly feels misunderstood or their inner experience goes unseen, it becomes a big part of what keeps the behaviour and struggle going.

It also shapes the way they begin to see themselves and the world, laying foundations that can contribute to anxiety, low confidence, anger, disconnection and so much more.

They may begin to feel insecure. Or start to believe that they’re flawed, their feelings are too much, that they are too sensitive, the world isn’t safe, or that something about who they are is fundamentally unacceptable.

But when a child is understood deeply, they can begin to develop a very different relationship with themselves where:

“My feelings make sense. I can be understood and feel secure. I can trust myself and like myself. I can move through my struggles and grow. There is nothing wrong with me, in fact there’s a lot right with me”.

Those are foundations they can carry with them into life.

And this absolutely doesn’t mean accepting behaviour that isn’t ok. Nor does it mean that they will forever struggle.

This absolutely isn’t about excusing behaviour, removing boundaries, or keeping their comfort zone narrow.

This is about understanding why something is happening, so you can respond to the real need underneath it, while still holding the boundaries, expectations and encouragement your child needs.

You're no longer simply trying to manage the behaviour. You're helping to change the pattern itself.

Because the goal isn't to make life smaller for your child or protect them from every difficult feeling.

Nor is it to manage every aspect of life so they are never triggered.

It's to help them feel safe enough to grow.

When you understand what's really going on underneath the reaction, you can begin to help your child move beyond the patterns that are keeping them stuck, rather than simply managing what you see on the surface.

As your child becomes better able to understand and move through what they're experiencing, you will begin to see changes in both how they feel and how they behave

— calmer responses, greater security and flexibility, more willingness to engage, and a growing ability to handle things that once felt overwhelming.

This isn't about making sure your child never struggles.

It's about helping them develop what they need to navigate those struggles, respond differently, and grow beyond the patterns that are holding them back.

This is Safe Space to Land.

For your child.
For you.
And for the understanding that can change what happens next.

Created from lived experience, pain turned into purpose, and thousands of hours working one to one with parents of highly sensitive children.
